Fun Time at the In Between

The small town of Crescent, Oklahoma was invaded Saturday, May 19 by a collection of horror and sci-fi geeks for the grand opening of the In Between store owned by James and Trista Wilmot. It was a great time and turned out to be an informal gathering of people who shared the same interests in fantasy, sci-fi, and horror in the local Oklahoma scene. I was invited to set up my table and sell a few books. My friend and longtime television horror host Count Gregore arrived and delighted everyone there with his wit and charm. Some great costumes were worn including Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the beautiful Batgirl worn by Kit Holley.
We spent the afternoon chatting away about the upcoming Soonercon and just catching up with each other on projects and memories. Needless to say, it was a fun afternoon by all. I hope the In Between is a success for James and Trista and that we can get together again in the future for another fun time at the store.
